New to link's but I found a sight hosting Themed Thursdays and it's so fun. Today is glass so I had to post several of my favoritesDon't you LOVE the colors!!!!Makes one want to jump in
Yes-er-ree you know your drinks....Yellow is a Lemon Drop, Green is an Appletini, Red is the Pomegranate, the last is a Appletini and the first one that is blue is called Blue Moon and has Bombay Sapphire Gin and Blue Curacao Liqueur! I love sherbet colors in drinks and all else!!!!!!!
Great pictures. Dang, Dakota Bear sure did good on guessing the drinks. I rarely drink so would never of guessed any of them. But I have heard of them. Maybe some day I will find out if I am missing anything. Well when I was young I did drink a lot of those Kamakasi's. Tequilla was great.
I guess some would be shocked at how much alcohol is in my house. I have a whole cupboard full of bottles and about 30 bottles of wine in the wine rack, maybe more. Even the 2 refrigerators have opened bottles in them. About 3 cases of beer too. Okay, maybe hubby does drink.
I guess I just have so much for if someone comes to my house and wants a drink, I have it available. Just never realized how much was here. I think I stopped when a friend stopped due to Alcohol problems. But I never drank much, so was not hard.
After this I think I need a drink. Sigh.
Thanks for joining us all in TT. Hope you like it. I am having fun with it.
I'm just a female who is a work in progress and imperfectly fun. I perfer a fanasty life and can't make prompt decisions but, did I mention?, I am imperfectly fun.-----------------
Ornaments on these pages are reminiscent of “old world” ornaments which originated by craftsmen in Eastern Europe in 1847. The originals were a cottage industry. Individual molds were owned by various families. To make hard earned money, families carved molds from hard woods, blew molten glass into said molds, silver lined the inside, at first with mercury or lead, then later using a special compound of silver nitrate and sugar water. … (very dangerous) and meticulously hand painted the outside finishing off products with mica dust. I own a few true original treasures passed down from my family. For the most part my collection is relatively new. Ornaments are now mass produced …machine blown, still in Eastern Europe (Poland, Germany), Italy, Japan as well as the United States but oh the memories they evoke for my family who are beneficiaries of a few new babbles each year as well as friends who share my fascination.
